A workshop called “Istanbul and Northern Forests” was held on March 21, 2019 to draw attention to the pressure on the natural structure and to discuss the current situation of the forests and the city in Istanbul, which is expanding and the population growth is increasing uncontrollably. shared their scientific findings. With the participation of public institutions, professional chambers, experts and civil society components in the IMM Beykoz Korusu Social Facilities on 28.09.2021, as a continuation of the meetings held with the headmen on 10.05. A 2-session workshop was held in which solution suggestions were presented.

Opinions, suggestions and requests obtained at the end of the headmen's meetings formed the basis for the design of the workshop, were conveyed to the participants in this workshop, and it was aimed to determine the road map for the Beykoz Workshop and the Beykoz planning agenda together. In the workshop, which took place with the participation of approximately 70 people, 3 priority problems were identified with 5 topics and 7 tables and solutions were presented.
